My life changed completely the moment our daughter, Elsa, was born. But let me tell you a little bit about me.
I completed my university studies in Barcelona, I graduated with a Diploma of Tourism Management finishing my studies with a scholarship in France.
I grew up in a small village and it was not easy for me to accept my sexual orientation. I have been with Sergi, my husband, for more than 10 years now, and almost 4 years ago we started the life changing process of IVF. Being two males, there are fewer options for parenting. We began by learning about adoption, but at the end of a long wait and other inconveniences brought by our age, we chose IVF and surrogacy.
Today, Elsa is almost two years old and with the help of our surrogate Jenn, we all have a family relationship. There is not a day that goes by that we aren’t grateful for this great little/big gift Jenn brought into the world for us.
Not only did Elsa's arrival in our family change my life personally, but the experience captivated me for another year and a half. I believe experience is knowledge, so I decided I wanted to work professionally helping other families who wanted to know more about surrogacy.
I began working for a surrogacy agency informing and advising families through their fertility journey. I also coordinated their processes from start to finish. After this opportunity, I worked directly with a clinic in the United States. In 2020, I created FaQ Fertility with Florian Joos who is my partner in this project.
Some FaQs about me:
Based in Spain.
I am 41 years old.
We have a dog in the family named Duc. Elsa gives him hugs all the time☺
I love mountains and trekking.
I also love to sunbathe.
I am a lover of languages and different cultures.
I do not like cooking much, but when I do, I cook for a regiment.
I had never liked wine but working at two wine cellars changed that for me.
Like Florian, I do not like shopping for clothes.
